Easy to install, and instantly stopped drafts and dampened outside noises very effectively!

The process could've been smoother with the sending of the measuring kit. There was a delay with weather in Oregon but then it felt like my kit was still delayed due to other reasons. Most new homes (like mine) have textured paint and it can also be inside your window frames. I measured everything out but I still have little tiny gaps due to the texturing. Not indows problem but just be aware you made need to sand or fill in those gaps yourself to get a perfect seal. I did the acoustic grade inserts and they have reduced some noise but they will not completely block or significantly reduce road noise. This is most apparent with deep or lower frequencies like truck exhausts or modified street racing cars that are quite popular these days. Taking the inserts out to open your windows isn't an easy task. The little metal hook they provide needs to be either bigger or you can attach something to it as a way to leverage yourself. Overall the process was average. I think they're definitely a good option for weatherproofing and some sound reduction depending on the type of windows you have. I would purchase again.

I am a 78-year-old woman and the windows in question are above two sliding glass doors. All 4 are almost 3'x4' in size. I had absolutely no problem ordering and installing them myself. The Indow rep I worked with initially answered all my questions. Indow helped all the way with the measurements, delivered the indows early, and provided detailed instructions on their installation. My only advice to potential customers is to measure thrice and order once. The key to successful inserts is a perfect fit - with the Indow-supplied laser, you can do it!

The inserts provided immediate results for the better. The inserts a virtually invisible which was better than expected. The biggest challenges were getting the accurate measurements which I Dow was helpful with and repositioning the blinds. Everything has worked out. We are planning to do this with other windows

As always with internet purchases, I was holding my breath on my recent purchase of inserts! However, everything suggested by everyone I spoke to via telephone, email and text, was verified when I received and installed my inserts!!! Nothing short of phenomenal; fit, sound deadening qualities, (yet to discover energy savings), and customer service is excellent!! I highly recommend this company and product!!

The measurement process was overly complicated - I understand the desire to get a tight fit into not perfectly square windwos, but a 17 page manual for something you can accomplish with math felt unnecessary. I also found the interface to be a bit challenging to work with when inputting fractions that necessarily had to be rounded but the system didn't like my entry. Otherwise, the inserts themselves fit well, very tight, noticeable noise reduction. I am so satisfied with them that I am considering placing another order (depending on whether I want to also spend the money to change window treatments).

For the past two years, I've been looking for something to reduce the traffic noise during the morning rush hour. Finally, I came to the conclusion of replacing the windows. I was researching things on the internet when I came up with their website. I researched it and compared the costs. I read all the articles and reviews. This seems like the best option. It worked better than I expected.

The Indows are well-made, fit reasonably well (the corners are a bit off), and seem to be providing both sound and thermal insulation, as predicted. We haven't had them installed long enough to form a solid impression of their performance in both areas. The design fits perfectly with our 110 year old windows and we hardly notice the inserts at all. The packaging involved in the shipment was a bit daunting (lots of cardboard, wood, straps, etc.) and I'm not sure how we would have handled it if we had ordered more than 4 windows. Probably would have had to hire a Task Rabbit or someone similar.

We are extraordinarily pleased with our Indow privacy inserts. Our house is a new build, and on one side we have square transom windows through which we could look into our neighbor's house - which means, they could look into ours as well. Not good. We looked at several options - window film, blinds, etc. None of those was a good fit. After a lot of looking, we settled on Indows for those windows, along with a large pane window in our primary bathroom. The windows let in light while the opaque finish obscures the view from the outside. The measurement process is precise, ordering is straightforward, they arrived undamaged, and were easy to install. And, they look great. We're very happy.
