You’re passionate about drumming but unfortunately your neighbors do not share your passion. We get it! That’s why we think you’ll love our Acoustic Grade window inserts, which can damp sound transmission through windows by up to 70%. But don’t take it from us. Check out this video from one of our customers to hear the difference our window inserts make both inside and out.
This video was really made by one of our customers named Dan, who’s a professional drummer. He was so thrilled at how well our product reduced the noise invading his recording studio that he wanted to share the difference.
How To Play Loud.
And Quiet The Noise Complaints.
Most noise leaves or enters a house through the windows. When you play, the drum vibrates, sending sound waves through the air that can penetrate gaps and cracks in your windows. Anywhere air can get in, sound can too. Which is why that leaf-blower noise can buzz right through your practice space.
How Much Sound Damping Will I Get?
It depends on your window type. Indow Acoustic Grade has been tested by several independent organizations for its sound damping properties. Users with single pane (i.e. just one layer of glass) windows will see the most dramatic difference. Users with double pane windows (i.e. two panes of glass with usually a pocket of air space in between) will still see a noticeable difference.
Effects of Indow when placed over various window types:

Add Shade Grade For Energy Savings and Comfort
Dan also purchased Shade Grade inserts to block the sun’s rays and to reduce heat gain so his studio space stays cool. In addition, during the winter, Indow inserts—of all grades—help block cold and drafts. So you can keep your space at a more comfortable temperature year-round!
Indow supports drummers and professional musicians the nation over. We also support the neighbors and look forward to helping them enjoy quiet, while you play unleashed.
*Note, overall noise reduction performance depends on how much noise is coming through walls, ceilings, floor, and doors. We do not recommend Indow inserts for reducing noise coming through laminated glass windows, triple pane windows, or hurricane windows specifically.
